Tour description.
Day 1.Arrival in Almaty. Meeting at the airport. Airport - “Kazakhstan” *** hotel. Breakfast. Rest. City-tour with a visit of a high-mountainous ice-skating rink "Medeo", lunch. Dinner. Night in the hotel.
Day 2. Acclimatization to the mountain altitude. Breakfast. Driving to Bolshoye Almaty gorge. Excursion on a nursery of wild birds. Lunch. Driving to Bolshoye Almaty lake, altitude 2511 m above sea level. (30 km drive from Almaty). Excursion to an observatory (3 km). Dinner. Observation of the night sky thru a telescope. Overnight in the observatory.
Day 3. Breakfast. Hiking to Ozerny pass (3400 m). Lunch. Hiking. Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 4. Ozerny pass - Chon-Kemin river - Bel gorge. Lunch during hiking. Overnight in tents.
Day 5. Breakfast. Hiking: Bel gorge - Bel glacier - Bel pass. Lunch during hiking. Night in tents.
Day 6. Breakfast. Hiking to Issik-Kul lake, accommodation in the rest-house "Kyrgyzskoye vzmorie". Lunch. Rest. Dinner.
Day 7. Breakfast. Driving to Almaty. Lunch in a caffe. Farewell dinner in a national caffe. Driving to airport.
The tourist is supposed to have: sleeping suit-bag, personal medicine chest, warm clothes.
