Tour description.
Day 1. Meeting at the Almaty airport, driving to the guest house. Breakfast. Horseback-riding - 2 hours. Visit of nursery of hunting birds. Hiking. Dinner. Driving to Bolshoy Amaty Lake. (h 2400 m). Excursion to the lake. Supper. Overnight in an observatory (20 km).Day 2. Breakfast. Horseback riding from Bolshoy Almaty Lake to Chimbulak (h 2200 m). Lunch during transition. Supper. Night in tents or in a guesthouse (10 km).
Day 3. Breakfast. Transition: Chimbulak-Butakovka (h 1800 m). Lunch. Accommodation in Kazakh yurts. Supper.
Day 4. Breakfast. Hiking. Falkonry show. Dinner (Kazakh national cuisine). Folklore concert. Free time. Supper. Overnight in Kazakh yurts. Supper.
Day 5. Breakfast. Transition: Butakovka - Alma-Tau (h 1800 m). Dinner. Accommodation in tents or Kazakh yurts. Supper near the fire.
Day 6. Breakfast. Transition: Alma-Tau - Maralsay (h 1400 m). Picnic. Supper. Overnight in tents or in a guesthouse.
Day 7. Breakfast. Transition: Maralsay - Issyk lake (h 1800 m). Picnic. Night in tents. Supper.
Day 8. Breakfast. Transition: Issyk lake - Teskensu (h 1800 m). Picnic. Overnight in tents or yurts. Supper near the fire.
Day 9. Breakfast. Transition: Teskencu - Batan (h 2200 m). Dinner. Excursion to the monument of nature: Chinturgen coniferous forest with spots of permafrost. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Supper.
Day 10. Breakfast. Excursion to Busgul waterfall (h 2400 m). Dinner in the guest house. Picnic. Overnight in the guesthouse. Russian banya.
Day 11. Breakfast. Transition: Batan - Assy (h 2800 m) - Observatory (25 km). Lunch. Overnight in the alpine camp. Supper.
Day 12. Breakfast. Transition: an Observatory - pass Issyk-Asu (h 3350 km) - Zhaneshke river (22 km). Dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 13. Breakfast. Transition: Zhaneshke river - Tabankaragay forestry (28 km). Dinner. Supper at a fire. Night in tents.
Day 14. Breakfast. Transition: Tabankaragay forestry - Chilik river (25 km). Lunch. Supper near fire. Night in tents.
Day 15. Breakfast. Transition: Chilik river - Kolsay Lake 2 (h 2850 m) (25 km). Lunch. Supper at a fire. Night in tents.
Day 16. Breakfast. Rest. Picnic. Night in tents.
Day 17. Breakfast. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Fishing.
Day 18. Breakfast. Transition (25 km): Kolsay lake - pass Sary-Bulak (h 3274 m) - aul Bolbay (Kyrgyzstan). Lunch. Driving to rest houses at a coast of Issyk-Kul Lake.
Day 19. Rest on the Issyk-Kul Lake. Accommodation in the rest house.
Day 20. Rest. Driving from Issy-Kul to Almaty (600 km).
Day 21. Almaty. Accommodation in a guesthouse. Breakfast. Rest. Dinner in the guesthouse. City-tour. In the evening: farewell supper. Russian banya. Transfer to the airport. Flight home.
Level of complexity: for the people who are able to sit in a saddle 4-6 hours per day.
Conditions: It is necessary to bring a seeping bag, warm clothes and personal first aid kit. Weight of personal things is not limited.
